My sweet, elderly nan was banned from the Catholic church because she interrupted a sermon and told the entire congregation to go to Hell after they shunned my Uncle for coming out. She also called the Father (or whatever) a cock sucker, and said she was proud her son was one. (Ha!)
So yes, my nan is a total BAMF...

Let’s say that I know someone who doesn’t really like gay people. Call this person Jane. Maybe she just doesn’t understand the whole “gay” thing, and she’s a bit uncomfortable about it.
I think for a lot of gay people this would mean instant hate. Or at least, that they could never be friends…
