yeah because everyone knows being fat makes you LESS of a person, right? and is quite possibly the WORST thing that anyone can be, Right?
It’s because of assholes like this guy that he felt so terrible about being overweight in the fucking first place, Emotional condition or not. His unhealthy image of himself was uphelp and maintined and now warped this fucker into an advocate for that initial image.
You know what else can’t be explained by an emotional condition? This fucking picture right here.
It is by no means an expression of personal success, other wise his text would include something to the effect of “Look at the difference a couple years could make” Or “Guys I can’t believe I lost all that weight” or what have you. No, Instead he put “No bread/Bread, No excerise/exercise”
NO FUCKING SHIT YOU EXERCISED, and you know what else isn’t surprising? THE FACT THAT YOU FUCKING ATE RIGHT.
Instead of saying “ya know I didn’t feel all that great when I was at this weight so I changed it, but if you find that you’re more than comfortable in yourself then all the more power to you” with this image he’s saying “I felt like crap when I was overweight, and you should feel like crap and be ashamed too”Fuck this, fuck this, fuck this. You do not need assholes like this cramming their warped images of what it means to be “body positive” down peoples’ fucking throats
This image is fucking useless and is just a means of gaining empty fucking compliments from a bunch of insecure men.
Accept yourself for what you fucking are or you’ll never be happy, If you feel you need a change then by all means make that change but remember one crucial thing: YOU’RE the one that felt they needed a change whatever it may be, not anyone else. SO MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS
THIS. Excuse me while I..
I don’t see any reason why this guy can’t simply be expressing pride in his accomplishment. The minimalism in the text seems to reflect the simplicity that he experienced in attaining this accomplishment.
Of course, my opinion comes from judgements based solely on this image alone, and I assume any of the above opinions on the image do as well. Unless I’m missing some backstory, I don’t think this gives us enough insight into what his intentions are.
Seeing this image, I believe we can assume a few things:
- This gentleman lost weight
- This gentleman exercised and stopped eating bread*
- This gentleman felt the need to create and share this image
- * “No Bread” could also be a simplification of dieting of some sort, although we can’t assume that from this picture
I firmly believe it’s unfair to attack him unless it is clear that he is out to promote shame in being overweight, or even promoting shame at all. This image falls far short of convincing me.
My opinion herein is made assuming that whoever is pictured created, or approved of the creation of, this graphic. If this is not true, then the creator has no right to assume the pictured gentleman’s method and/or ease of weight loss.
By all means, please let me know if there is information I’m missing. I’d hate do defend someone that wants me to believe there is something shameful about my body.
